Playa de las Américas is 17 minutes from Tenerife South Airport on the TF-1, one exit before Costa Adeje. Pick the car up in Arrivals at TFS or have it brought to your hotel in Las Américas. The resort is laid out as a grid of one way avenues and your first lap of the block is a rite of passage, so set the destination before you pull out of the airport rather than at the first junction.

Parking is the one real friction here. Blue line bays are paid and time limited, and the underground car parks under the commercial centres are the sane option for a full day. Most of what you want is close: Los Cristianos harbour is next door, El Médano is 30 minutes east on the TF-1, and the west coast road to Los Gigantes takes about 40 minutes. The TF-21 up to the Teide cable car is roughly 75 minutes.

Las Américas is where the island's fast cars actually get used, and Google already ranks us near the top for it.
