Tenerife North, still called Los Rodeos by everyone on the island, is in La Laguna on the TF-5. It handles most of the inter island and mainland Spanish routes, and it is the right airport for a northern holiday: Santa Cruz is 13 km and about 15 minutes away, Puerto de la Cruz 30 to 35 minutes. We meet you in Arrivals; if you booked for a southern resort by mistake, Costa Adeje is a full hour away and we can move the pickup to car hire at Tenerife South Airport instead.

One local thing worth knowing: Los Rodeos sits at over 600 m and regularly disappears into low cloud, the sea of stratus the island calls the panza de burro. Expect damp tarmac and short visibility on the exit road even when the south is in full sun, and turn the lights on. The TF-5 west takes you to Puerto de la Cruz and Garachico, the TF-12 climbs straight into the Anaga laurel forest, and the TF-21 out of La Orotava is the northern approach to Teide.
