The car is simply too wide for comfort on this specific route. You will find yourself holding your breath when a local bus or a rental van approaches from the opposite direction. The turning circle also means you might need to make three-point turns on the tightest hairpins, which is not ideal when a queue of traffic is building up behind you.

The resort streets in Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, and Playa de las Americas present their own challenges. These areas are bustling with pedestrians, scooters, and narrow alleys.
